Culver City's 5.0-Rated Acupuncture Clinic
Our Approach
We are committed to giving the best individualized care with worthwhile outcomes by combining Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western methods.
Our philosophy
At Felice Acupuncture, we help our patients find their innate abilities to heal.
Jing · essence
Jing is your essence, your physical foundation and inherited vitality from your ancestors.
Qi · vitality
Qi is your vitality, it is your life force cultivated through breath, food, and movement.
Shen · spirit
Shen is your spirit, and is the radiance that shines through. It is the spark of your unique personality.
Taken together, these three treasures can be thought of as a candle - jing is the wax and wick, Qi is the flame, and shen is the light emitted.
The Four Pillars of Healing
Healing happens when yin and yang are in harmony and life is in balance.
Our work is rooted in four timeless pillars that guide the body back to balance:
-
Acupuncture
Restores flow, releases stagnation, and rebalances energy.
-
Herbal Medicine
Nourishes from within using synergistic plant formulas.
-
Food as Medicine
Aligns diet with nature to support digestion and mood.
-
Lifestyle Practices
Cultivates regulation through rest, ritual, and awareness.

Meet Dr. Felice Chan
- Dr. Felice Chan, L.Ac
- Founder
Raised in Hong Kong, where Traditional Chinese Medicine was part of daily life, she later studied neuroscience and pre-med at Bowdoin College before earning her Chinese medical doctoral degree at Emperor’s College in Los Angeles.
Years later, while studying neuroscience and working in hospitals, she began to see the gap between symptom management and true root healing. That realization led her back to her roots and toward a more integrated model of care.
“She believes that medicine is not something we take but something we remember.”
The science behind acupuncture
Felice has a background in neuroscience and understands the importance of the mind-body connection.
We do read labs, and we work with your Western doctors.

Frequently asked questions
What happens during my first visit?
Your initial visit is 75 minutes. Before your appointment, you'll complete an intake form. Together, you and your practitioner will review it and talk through your symptoms, followed by a tongue and pulse diagnostic and your first acupuncture treatment. You'll leave with a personalized treatment plan.
Does acupuncture hurt?
Most patients find acupuncture surprisingly gentle. You may feel a brief sensation as the needles are placed, followed by warmth, heaviness, tingling, or deep relaxation.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your goals and history. Your practitioner will recommend a treatment plan after your first visit.
When will I see results?
Many patients notice a change within the first few sessions; long-standing concerns usually take longer. Your practitioner will review your progress with you at each visit.
How will I feel after my first session?
Most people feel calm and relaxed, sometimes a little tired. Drink water, rest if you can, and tell your practitioner how you felt at your next visit.
What should I wear to my appointment?
There is no specific dress code. During your treatment, we will ask you to remove necessary clothing to ensure certain acupuncture points are accessible. We will cover you with blankets and towels to make you feel your most comfortable.
How much does a visit cost?
Prices depend on the treatment and session length. See our services page for current prices, or contact us with any questions.
